FABLE 605 The CAT and the FOX
A Cat and a Fox were traveling together and began bickering. “Why do you think you’re better than me?” the Fox asked. “I know far more tricks than you.” The Cat retorted, “I may only know one trick, but it’s worth a hundred of yours.” Suddenly, they heard a pack of hounds hastening toward them. The Cat quickly bolted up a tree, but the Fox, unable to pick just one escape, was frozen with indecision.
Common sense is always worth more than cunning.

The Templeton Preserve
Production Notes
Both of these unique varieties are estate grown at The Templeton Preserve. Each grape variety underwent individual whole cluster pressing. The Grenache Blanc experienced a cold crash before being transferred to neutral oak, where it underwent native fermentation. The Verdelho was pressed directly to the barrel and underwent daily bâtonnage during fermentation to balance out the wine’s natural acidity. Post fermentation, we skillfully blended the two varieties to create a light, bright white wine with plenty of texture.
