2022 Reserve White Wine

This wine is 100% estate grown at the Templeton Preserve Vineyard. It is planted adjacent to the crush pad as part of the experimental grape variety block originally planted for Ken Volk, the founder of Wild Horse. Each variety was whole cluster pressed separately with varying amounts of cold crashing pre-fermentation. We then blended the juices, transferred the combined juices to neutral oak barrels where it underwent native fermentation for 3 weeks. We bâtonnage daily during fermentation to balance out the wine’s natural acidity.
